i'm with you on how fandom on tumblr feels so disconnected and negative. i've been thinking about getting a personal tumblr again maybe later this year, but i feel sad about how it doesn't feel like there's strong community on there (i mean, b5 for example has always felt a bit sparse and cliquey, but imo it's gotten worse. maybe it's still possible to build up a wider community again idk). at the same time i kind of struggle with dreamwidth and feeling shy about getting involved in things, especially exchanges! anyway i'm glad you're finding community here
