Snowflake Challenge #1
Jan. 2nd, 2025 05:15 amMan I have a lot to catch up with on here, oops. I've had a very rocky month. Still, I really want to try the Snowflake Challenge this year (AND actually stick with it) so here we are!
Challenge #1: Update your fandom information.
This account is fairly new, so nothing is really out of date! I just added a profile tag for a video game I've been obsessed with lately, 1000xresist.
And I added a permissions statement to my AO3. I would love to see other peoples' permission statements, too! It's hard to know what to put in it sometimes. I feel like I am particularly picky with mine because at the end of the day I would probably be thrilled with anything someone would make based on my works, but better safe than sorry maybe.
Looking forward to the next one. :)

I did recently see someone suggest adding a line about not consenting to have AI use your work in any way, which seems like a great idea. I might add that!

That's a great way to have fun and make new friends.

Mine is linked here along with a bunch of other stuff.

The hottest issue currently is AI-generated work; most people either love it or hate it and can get downright violent about it. Think over your stance on that, if any.
I listed things people are always welcome to do, like translating or podcasting, and that fanwork of my fanwork is okay because it's not mine in the first place. The main area I care about getting permission first is if someone wants to make money from my work.
If you don't have a stance on a topic, it's okay to leave it out. There's a lot of stuff other people list that I don't have a stance for yet.
